The Drafting Room

A room, not a form. A composition, not a checklist.

What the room is

The Legatus.esq™ drafting room is the place where an estate is composed, not assembled. A will-and-trust architecture, a shareholder instruction, a family governance memorandum, an insurance nomination — these are not separate products to be purchased and stapled together. They are movements of a single composition, and they must be drafted with one another in view.

The drafting posture

Compositions for families whose estates traverse both common-law and Shariah jurisprudence — drafted in one room, with appropriate counsel retained for each tradition.

Counsel, not referral

Instruments composed in the Legatus drafting room are assisted by a drafting instrument, operated by retained counsel under written instruction. Octavia, retained counsel, instructs it, reads what it produces, amends, and signs.
